(So, obviously, it wasn't any time recently.)

A strange and wondrous beauty indeed.Howardhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02265121591041114100noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3972382144120426476.post-79650805537289803582018-12-15T12:31:06.466-06:002018-12-15T12:31:06.466-06:00poetic descriptionpoetic descriptionPrivatehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10757585399827295128noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3972382144120426476.post-71302157935462243152018-12-15T10:47:43.407-06:002018-12-15T10:47:43.407-06:00A striking photo.

Better still is rime ice, which is caused by freezing fog. Every branch and twig looks like it's covered with white fur or feathers. But rime ice is rather rare, and I've only seen it a few times in my life. Winter does have its moments of beauty. If the winter season is not always so beautiful...neither is it sheer horror.Grizz 65https://www.blogger.com/profile/02892702223228764894noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3972382144120426476.post-68127176033474804102018-12-15T09:03:19.828-06:002018-12-15T09:03:19.828-06:00I thought the photo was pretty; now I know why.

The photos I took of them never did them justice. Glad there are more skillful photographers with work on display here at egd.

johntatehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10088632798195131329noreply@blogger.com
