Personally, I'd much rather see someone in yellow clogs than with some of the 'individualist' markings/marrings people seem to favor these days.

Plus, it got him free publicity! Neil never would have walked up to him if he had a cheek gauge that showed his gums (and what he had fror lunch).Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3972382144120426476.post-85977881024121414022014-07-16T11:28:08.414-05:002014-07-16T11:28:08.414-05:00Clarification:

Same goes for most people with tats, earrings, and exotic facial hair.

---JerryBAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3972382144120426476.post-55288472647017503172014-07-16T11:03:15.113-05:002014-07-16T11:03:15.113-05:00Interesting. (As long as he remained stationary, that is!) To each his own, but to me this is like when somebody is dressed up, but then wears sneakers to round out the ensemble. Whether they're made of wood, leather or canvas, the shoes detract from the appeal of the nice suit because they are yellow, IMHO. A nice, natural-looking wood stain might go quite well, on the other hand... I sought to guess the subject of the forthcoming essay from the photo.

My guess was "men carrying purses."

Steinberg asserts --

""'''Most people are sheep; even those who try to be different tend to be different in exactly the same way. The rare times when a method of standing out -- tattoos for instance -- is actually sort of rare, so many flock to it that it becomes just another kind of conformity."""

So true!

Here are two ways not to be part of a flock:

1) If one is smart -- then be a lifetime learner. Hard for the flock to keep up on that one.

2) Same for being a good and kind person.

--JerryBAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3972382144120426476.post-89665291892047188872014-07-16T08:33:31.403-05:002014-07-16T08:33:31.403-05:00Lovely of you to notice.
