Felling a tree and reducing it to a cord of firewood satisfies a basic male instinct. A chainsaw to buck the the trunk is allowed but a power splitter should be used only when it is a commercial rather than a personal endeavor. Don't know about Filson, but if I want Duluth Trading no-stink underwear, one pair is all I can afford. Habitat for Humanity has perfectly good, recycled, usable tools at its resale stores. You can buy stuff there for a fraction of what you'd pay online or retail. Perfectly good items that come out of someone's basement or garage or workshop--after they retired or died or downsized. And some of it is quite high-end, if you get lucky on the day that you shop there. Prices are half of what you'll pay online or at a brick-and-mortar retail outlet. Sometimes even less. And it's all tested before it's put out for sale. Such a deal! Ask the man who knows.<br />Grizz 65noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3972382144120426476.post-12238045919129394652018-04-17T16:19:53.196-05:002018-04-17T16:19:53.196-05:00Oh, Sandy, you make us sound so shallow.
