When they're dry and crunchy...nice to look at and fun to walk through...but not so much fun for those who have to pick them up...especially when they're soaking wet and the weather is gray and cold. Or even worse---snowy. <br /><br />I live on a large and shady corner lot. Even with fewer trees than I had in the past, I'm still faced with filling 40 to 50 bags every fall season. Late October and all of November are sheer drudgery for me, every year. If the weather is especially poor, I sometimes don't get finished until mid-December.Grizz 65https://www.blogger.com/profile/02892702223228764894noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3972382144120426476.post-5639060681692109902019-11-02T11:50:37.999-05:002019-11-02T11:50:37.999-05:00You made my day, Tom. One of my favorites is illustrated by an old joke about a young nun rushing into the office and exclaiming "Holy Mother, they say there's a case of gonorrea in the convent." To which the Abbess replies, "The good Lord be praised. I was getting so tired of chardonnay."<br /><br />TomTomhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09641357239788323783noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3972382144120426476.post-42633570024727275542019-11-02T08:07:22.814-05:002019-11-02T08:07:22.814-05:00I noticed similar distributions of leaves followin...I noticed similar distributions of leaves following Thursdays snowfall, an unusual sight in the age of the leaf blower. Enjoy this part of Falls' spectacle while we can.
