Saturday fun activity: Where IS this?


     Summer is going fast. Have you been away? Made any plans to get away? Perhaps to the ... well, where is this thing, silhouetted against the summer twilight? It shouldn't be that difficult: how many of these are there? But maybe it'll take a few tries. Maybe not. Either way, post your guesses below.     All I know is that it's a chair lift for a winter ski resort.

    Yes, in Wisconsin at the resort.

    We went to the Iowa State Fair last summer, and it was a nice time. The sky ride was fun. I agree with Anon 8:46 comment, the Illinois fair was better, and yes, the cream puffs were one of the reasons!

      I think you mean Wisc. Sandy. I've tried a couple of County Fairs too. They don't hold a candle to those W. puffs. There goes my cholesterol count.

    I grew up around Springfield and have ridden the State Fair sky ride many times. Totally worth trying at least once during the fair.
